Do you know this February we are celebrating a Leap Year? February 29 will visit us! Do you know that Feb. 29 occurs in years divisible by #4? When was the last Leap Year?

The greeting card, candy, jeweler and FLORAL businesses "<3" this month, too Group hug . And we can all remember those we love with bouquets from our own gardens! Well, in Arizona we can Green Grin! Colder climes may have to send out for a delivery. It's the thought that counts! Angel

I saw that Sherry! So exciting! I love that US Navy has done this! Going to be fun to watch the Christening! Ha! Do that still call it that? I've been to a couple at Mare Island in San Francisco Bay. She and those she so graciously represents deserve her honor. Love her!

Arizona does honor the heroes and sacrifices of those in service ... Piestewa Peak for Lori Piestewa first woman to fall during operations in Iraq... and more. Pat Tillman. I think we're small enough state to really notice those in service who fall and rise!!!

We have just had a nice steady rain that was mixed with big fat SNOWFLAKES ! Hurray! The temp. at noon had dropped to 38 F after being in the 50's earlier this morning. A noticable cold front went thru as I was out in the yard. About .20 or rain so far. Thumbs up

We had a good soaking rain over here yesterday and last night also. Looks as though we may expect more tomorrow.I thought it would never happen. I've been getting worried about all my trees that don't get any supplemental water in the summer, winter rains being all they can hope for.
