It is supposed to drop to 29 tonight in my area. I really hope that is not the case because I have uncovered everything and have not intention of covering stuff back up.

I know we are supposed to get possibly to 32 F tonight. I am done with the covering stuff as well, with the exception maybe of my big potted Brugmansia that has been blooming for weeks now. It is up to 41 F ! Hilarious! I hope you do not go to 29 F ! Thumbs down

Not being familiar with Tucson, I had no idea you even got snow there. It's raining here now, does that mean this batch will head your way also? It will be colder here tonight, snow down to 2,500'.

Very odd year weather-wise. Linda, so cool you got some snow! I remember it's snowed here about 7 years ago and then in 1999, too. I remember it was a day I was picking up my two baby poodles from a grooming.

Becky, the purslane cuttings I have from your plant is in dirt and indoors in a sunny window... been blooming for months... as you know :)

I just have to wonder what is yet to come. More cold with a lot more rain, I hope, would be Welcome!

Sherry, often the trade winds will bring your weather to us. Very often. Just be sure to save just a little rain for us. I know you need it, too! It's chilly here, 62. Some might think that's bordering on warm but when you live in the desert for awhile even 62 is cold.

None yet, Marie? Maybe we did use it all up over here.....and cold, too. Had the fire going last night whereas a couple of weeks ago I was sleeping with the windows open. After we get through today, no more rain out there in sight for at least the next 8 days...with the ground now soaked, I need to get out there and dig seedlings..trees and echiums.

No rain at all in my area. I have had to water. I had frost on the car window yesterday but this morning was not as cold. I want to go back to the warm 70 degree days and 50 nights!! What kind of seedlings are you digging?

Yes, Marie...it's a wonderful tree. Mine were originally seed sown almost 30 years ago. They're also not much bothered by the pests hitting most of the other eucs. I also love Nichols euc, the peppermint scented one and though I know where there is one here in town, I've kept forgetting for years to go see if I can reach any of the seed pods. I realy want to grow those also. Also have Brazilian Pepper Tree seedlings to dig and sapote seedlings. Been running around out of town all morning and need to go dig some NOW...lol..

Marie, it's Nichols eucalyptus and it's a small, rather graceful tree. Arlene says that when she's back out to the Ca. house this Spring we'll get together there. I know weege will make it and Kathleen and myself...don't know about others...who else is left from the DG group? I don't keep in touch with DG. So, I don't think it will be an RU type thing, probably just a potluck, but if it should turn into an RU and you were over here, I could bring you lemon euc seedlings. I'm sending Bex some seeds when they ripen...apparently they will grow in Gold Beach....
