Hello Rob,
This is a Tulipa "Saxatilis" and not "Lilac Wonder", see the color of the flour wires, the flower leaves are more sharper, and they have a slightly different flowering time. last summer i did a test whit both Tulips.

according to CoL...both Tulipa bakeri and Tulipa saxatilis subsp. bakeri are now considered synonyms of Tulipa saxatilis.

'Saxatilis' is a species name, not a cultivar. 'Lilac Wonder' is a cultivar of T. saxatilis so they should be slightly different from each other.
