I hope you had a name in the first place and can recognise it, there's two very similar.

Hamamelis x intermedia 'Ruby Glow' and Hamamelis x intermedia 'Diane'

Hamamelis x intermedia 'Diane' on RHS says petals dark orange ..

There's a lot of cultivars but maybe 10 years ago Ruby Glow was one of the more popular ones.

'Carmine Red' is not so different ..

Diane looks closest to me, but I can not go by remembering name from when I bought it. Must have been mislabeled because it was supposed to be a yellow. It does very well in full sun. Thanks for checking.

I am "into" witch hazels.

I think it looks like Diane. Plus, the others are hard to find at nurseries. Diane can be found, but not as easy as finding Arnold's Promise. I have grown Diane for about 15 years.

Lucky for me, Dawes Arboretum is only 20 miles away and has a huge WH collection. I think I have 11 different ones here at my house, but Dawes must have 30 or more. I went there a few days ago and took a bunch of photos that I will be adding to the database.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure Diane is it. I also had someone who works at a different nursery say Diane.
