Mona, I think turning the pots over your plants could help save them, I've done it a few times and the plants were fine the next day.

Pots would work great for that. Just make sure if it's going to warm up or the sun comes out to remove the pots or it could get too hot and burn the plants. I made the mistake of putting black trashbags over some plants when I was spraying weed killer one time and toasted the heck out of the foliage and buds. Also, if you have any old sheets you could drape them over the plants. Around here it's not the cold that really bothers the plants, it's the frost that hurts them.

Great looking plants form Bell, he has always sent nice plants to us. The weather forecast has changed for this area, its now suppose to get too 22 tonight, the coldest this fall and winter. Like Michele said we have been very warm this winter season but with one night like this everything can turn to mush. This is the reason I state on the auction that I ship in April because you never know what Feb and Mar will bring. We have had snow on the Gulf Coast in March.

I agree, cover them. I use old sheets and stuff to extend my season in the fall. I cover at night, uncover in the morning.
