Thanks for the story about the seed pod bursting, jmorth!
We had a Caragana hedge that would catch me unawares. On a blistering hot, late August day, they would explode out of their tiny pod, always catching me off guard. I guess our 'Fight or Flight' reaction is working well.

And thanks for sharing your wealth of photos of so many plants and blossoms.

And Welcome aboard, UncleWill. Glad to see your pictures for 'P'.

Baja, that Madagascar Palm is amazing - especially the beautiful shot of the seed pod!

Before I dash off to the Grandview Senior's Sunday morning breakfast, I'd like to share a few photos. One is of our Ponderosa Pine Spirit Tree, and then a few Peonies

Great soup ingredients... what can I add thats not already here? I have a few left but I am starting to think the soup is sending a message to the weather Gods to keep it cold out side. You should have seen the snow here yesterday, it was like being in one of those globe things! I will move on to R, a big big letter!

One last gasp attempt at putting up my Primulas.
Yesterday I was ending up with them, and I hit the wrong key - - - and they vanished. No way could I get them back - - - so I'll try again.
Primulas are one of my favourite plants, and they have treated me with endless crossings and variations. Sadly, my new garden is too sunny and dry, so I have lost many of my older favourites.
