Betty, The little ones at Salters are fantastic!!! Did you look at the Dip future intors. They are absolutely awesome!!! I would be tickled pink to grow any of those and the ones that she has already introduces are just great. I wonder if her prices are reduced from the past intros. They still have the intro prices showing but I would think they would be a little cheaper anyway??

Beauty! Now, to try to find some mini's or smalls that I could buy.

Blessings, Mona

Margaret, I too enjoy the large flowers - but this year I actually ordered a few minnies- I am excited to get them, it will be interesting to see if I go anywhere with them - like ordering more, or if these will be the only one I ever have

And boy, that Teenie Girl is cute! ~Jan

I just got my Floyd Cove, Marietta, and second Bell's orders on Wednesday and they included quite a few smalls and minis -- and I'm still planting them! I'll do threads on my orders when I finally break the surface here. And Jan, my wee ones from Floyd Cove look fantastic, so you should be very happy when you get your order!

I have a new hybridizing goal now, after seeing Lyle's seedling -- small and mini TOOTHY daylilies!

Agree that Penny's Worth is tops. One of my favorites is Siloam Grace Stamile. Tiny, low rose pink with eyezone. ToLerant of drought.
Am trying to locate Pugsly and some others to add to my collection of babies. Growing in Nebraska can be a challenge. Phyllis

Here's one I posted on another site a few years ago; taken at Crossview gardens in Morrisville, Vt. I later purchased the plant only to have it eaten my my son's puppy Grumbling

The data base lists this over 4" but blooms I see are closer to 3".

I have been collecting the small and talls too! "Star's my Destination" is the tallest so far.
Miss Amelia / Raspberry Pixie /
Little Print, which seems a lot taller than it is supposed to be! It's a great plant.

I generally prefer my little ones between 3"-4" so I can see details a little better with my deteriorating eyesight. Also, the true minis are almost too small for me to get a good picture with my not-so-fancy Nikon (but I love it!). But here is a little one I picked up this summer through the Lily Auction.

BUMBLE BEE BLITZ - Listed as 2.75" and very cute, and it sets pods!

Here's another wee one I just love. I've had it since it was introduced a couple of years ago by Floyd Cove.

TINY FIRECRACKER - Listed as 2.25" and probably a little closer to 3" for me. Also, it can look very different depending on weather conditions and temperatures.

Here are two minis that bloomed for me this year:

Little Surfer Girl - just finished blooming, first year, single stalk, but ohhh, it was beautiful. This photo does NOT do it justice, the colors are more vivid in real life - and it looks very similar to the catalog photo

Double Cherries Duet bloomed like crazy, sorry, my close up was blurry

Jan, I really love LITTLE SURFER GIRL too -- just about my favorite, in fact. And I sure wish it was a tet so I could cross it with a toothy one!
