@gasrocks
Gene! i have a few questions about spraying Azamax. I got it but after reading the label warnings of full body coverage and respirator..bla-bla..chickened out on spraying.
i usually spray in the shower but it has warnings not to let it get into sewer or drainage...
so i just did a soak and sprayed with Neem Oil as usual for the top.
one of my Philo's is having a bacterial smth or other for a long time and nothing can get rid of it.
but after a soak it got much better. was weeping dew on underside of leaves and then the spots would dry up and turn yellow. unsightly, but the plants otherwise were OK.
it also helped with sev plants that are mite magnets, like Calathea and Stromanthe.
i presume you spray outdoors? do you take precautions as prescribed on the label?

well, my count crept up to 250..even though I've been trying hard not to buy more and gave some away too.
but pruning leads to propagation as some plants get leggy over winter and some just get too big...
I am trying to plant several small ones together to make sort of an arrangement or dish garden to reduce the number of pots (as if it fools anybody ;).
I made a cute one with several small tall sansevierias and hawortias, but hawortias dried up and sansi's started rotted. totally unexpected!

Oh, interesting to count mine. Now I have counted the plants around me. There are 30 of them. But this is a very small part of everything. I also tried to reduce the number, but tomorrow I plan to take a few more fuchsias ...
The worst thing is that my boss is also a fan. We are already close to the mini-jungle in the office, and seedlings will soon be added ... Unhappy security guards water it all at the weekend ...

Random indoor plants... This is my 'nursery' corner with all of my plants that either can't go outside or are currently recovering.

On the shelf from left to right is Haworthia venosa tessellata, Gynura aurantiaca, Hoya wayetii, Haworthia retusa, and Haworthia venosa tessellata. On the table from left to right is Zamioculcas zamiifolia, Tillandsia ionantha, Tillandsia caput-medusae, Cyclamen persicum, Agave desmetiana variegata, Haworthia retusa, Aloe brevifolia, Aloe aculeata crousiana, and Hoya carnosa 'Compacta'.

I have another in front of a window in this bedroom with my propagations. (Actually, the 'table' is two big cardboard boxes stacked on top of each other with a TV tray on top.)

I recently moved from a tiny studio apartment with one set of windows and no balcony to camping on my family in one of their extra bedrooms. Space was so tight in my apartment that I stuck some LED light strips on the underside of a couple of my bookshelves for my small succulents and hung a grow light setup over my dining table for the bigger tropicals. The concrete alcove I have outside at this house feels like an entire football field by comparison.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

well, i'm a snowbird too...sort of. Since I spend 2-3 mo in So Fl.
...but now all of a sudden i'm full blown one (perhaps, I should consider a name change ..to Snow-egret?!)..
anyhoo..I have brought 100 small to tiny plants including endless cuttings for rooting , so as not to get bored during a lo-ong FL winter. and then acquired a few more..topping 130 now , I think. but a lot of them are just in tiny cups, but chugging along nicely.
here's a group still in boxes on the balcony...

well, i am keeping 150 pots on wicks in FL now permanently and transfer smalls/cuttings to JC for summer (those that are too small to be left unattended)..about 70-80 go in boxes back and forth :). they are snowbirding too.
and i have about 70 hard-core troopers in JC wintering permanently, so the count goes up to 150 in JC in summer too :).
total between 2 locations is about 300.

some of mine also go out on the balcony, if they need some sun: crotons, heliconia, tropical Hibiscus, Plumerias and some others.
@Mrs_Hottentot ,
I saw the pics of some of yours: beautiful!

Thanks , Skylark !
At this time of year, my plant population is constantly growing and since I'm constantly busy with the care I don't have the time to count Hilarious!
