Glad to have found this site!! Iam from the Central Valley on the west coast. Very dry and windy where I live. Very mild winters, not much rain at all. But that's what the hose is for lol. Learned gardening beside my mother and grandmother. It makes me so happy. Hard work that pays off and makes me happy. Different flowers bring back many happy memories. Each flower makes me remember a specific moment or a favorite flower from times long past.
