These containers were planted in October 2017 and placed in a frame until February 2018 when they were transferred into a cold greenhouse until the shoots were about 3-4 inches tall. The pots were hardened off outside early March (they were returned, briefly, to the protection of the greenhouse during a cold snap which brought snow and icy conditions) Tulip Ancilla is starting to go over, but has given a lovely show for a couple of weeks.
