Darn it, you made me go look. But I am glad I did because he had one available of Burseen's Silent Rain that I have been looking for for awhile.

I ordered 7 from him last night at midnight since I could not sleep. Something to do that late! He had some great ones at good prices so I got some little ones and some that I just wanted. I tried not to look at the whole list or I would have had too many for the space available.

I've never ordered from Breezeway before, until now… Bonnie! I've wanted Frontier Lady for a few years now, and now it will be mine, plus I got 3 others off my wanted list.

Their rhizomes are not the huge west coast type but everything they have sent me has survived and done well. Great prices!

I went a little insane and DID look at the entire list, came away with 70....such low prices that I easily averaged $5 per rhizome and only $10 for shipping....and I thought I was done online iris shopping for the year.

With their low prices combined with shipping it is a good place to really beef up your iris garden.

Leslie, I was hoping to get all of this year's order into existing beds but that isn't going to happen now. I have 4 50' beds that we created a couple of years ago (husband ran his yard tractor with a tiller attachment over them several times to break things up for me or they wouldn't have been finished) that I completely filled to overflowing last fall with my peony purchases. Have already started digging out the wide walking paths between 2 of those beds, had to for homes for the last few roots coming in and to move some that were struggling in more shaded beds last fall. Think I'll be digging between the others, leaving just a narrow walking path, to fit most of this year's peonies and irises....Narrow paths, less room for weeds to grow, right?

Wow, 70, Liz in Elizabeth! I really have to keep my total iris to under 700 - but I wanted to give Breezeway a try, so I broke my rule...Abby's Fire will have to travel alone !

Keep watch on Breezeway's site later this summer. They have a close out sale and it is a doozey. I usually don't catch it before the ones i want are gone. If i catch it this year in early days I will post.
