Just sharing some photos I took while we were at the 2012 Pacific Orchid Expo in Fort Mason, CA.
My hubby and I make this an annual tradition to attend this show...







And of course the trip will not be complete till we get to buy new orchids! And here they are:
Dendrobium smilliae lea:


Encyclia cordigera: I love the pseudobulb of this one, looks like a big fat onion!


And got to get a Paph: Paphiopedilum Irish Eyes Verdant x Ice Castle 'Chunky'...gee such a long name!

I love the purchases too. We should be able to compare the Dendrobium smilliae, I bought one too in bud a couple of weeks ago. Isn't it gorgeous?!

Thanks everyone! Yes Ursula that dendrobium smilliae is too gorgeous not to buy Let's see how it acclimates here, and yours as well. Too much eye candy during the show! But all worth seeing!

I just noticed this morning, the back of the lip of the Zygopetalum I got from the show has a distinct print, as if tattooed to the lip:
