Aha! Out of the hundreds (thousands?), this one is the second one that I really like. For some reason, daylilies don't thrill me, but this one I would buy! Beautiful purple!

Over 7,000 registered daylilies! There are A LOT of purples that look similar to this with that lighter watermark! You need to check out the daylily forum and database!

And then go to Daylily Hill, a nursery near here....lol...think they've changed their name recently.

Watch out, Sherry! Daylilies can be habit forming. I really like this one, too. Lovely photo!

My collecting addictions fall in the salvia genus. I like the standard yellow or gold daylilies, but most of the rest don't do anything for me. They make nice pictures, but I wouldn't necessarily want them in my garden. This one and the ruffled ivory / peach one I saw a week or so ago are the only ones I've seen that I want.This is 'good' news......I still lust after every salvia that I don't have....lol.

I've added it to my "must have" list. Sue continues to feed my addiction...

No, not Daylily Hill, they just carry the old fashioned landscape types, you would never see anything like this.
