Ginger I can't tell you how great it is to hear from you and to know that you're safe and sound. Thank goodness your dear daughter and sister-in-law came and got you. I know it is wonderful to see them I also know you're anxious to get your place back in order but you know that has to wait. I'm sorry to hear about the damage. You found the silver lining didn't you?

Yup found the silver lining! My DD and her hubby were NOT gonna take no for an answer, but wish I had known they were going to hog tie me and take me home with them so I could have been prepared. It's cold here and I only have 1 long sleeved shirt. Poor Dixie is totally out of sorts, but at least here with me and being a VERY good girl Put one of my shirts on her this morning because she was cold and shaking She took it rather well

Boy, am I late answering this note.
Just went thru my first Hurricane. Thank God, I made it thru it all.
Kept myself in clothes closet.
I made it thru it all. But wowiers! Little old Alford did have some damage.
My place lost a few shingles but survived the situation.
Thank God.
5 more days til Hurricane season is over.
