I was at the flea market Friday and found this cute little gazebo for a dollar. I could not resist and the idea for a Fairy Garden came to mind. Today I found an absolutely adorable garden swing at another flea market for just $4.00 and had to have it. I also found my Fairy. I had a cup that used to contain mealworms, a pendant that I have had for years, some two part epoxy and now I have a Koi pond! My brother was at the bonsai gardens yesterday and found this tiny little bonsai juniper tree and picked it up for me. Today I bought the moss that will be the grass. Unfortunately, I did not get enough and will need to go back tomorrow to get three more so I can complete the garden. I also took some jewelry findings and a marble and created a gazing ball. Here are some of my items. Once I get it all put together, I'll post a complete picture.

There's still some minor adjusting to do. I'm not 100% satisfied with it yet. Something is not quite right or not quite finished on it but I have not been able to put my finger on it....but I will.

The little garden swing was just too much for this garden, it just made it too crowded. So that will be for another project down the line.

The gazebo looks bare. Maybe some butterflies or flowers on it, beads to look like lights. maybe beaded dragonflies.. But I do have to admit it is so very cute the way it is.

It reminds me of the Japanese zen gardens as it is. Minimal, bare, very clean.
The bonsai lends itself to that as well.

Robin, I think you are right. I think I will create a couple of tiny clay butterflies for the gazebo. I already have plans for a tall dragon to be looming at the very back of the garden. He will be looking out over the top of the tree. Now to find the perfect dragon!

OH.. too cute from me also.. .. perhaps the gazebo needs to sit on a bit of patio ..

Thanks all. I'm still working on it. I've made some clay butterflies to put on top of the gazebo and last night I made this clay gazing ball stand. The colors help.

Sweet! That gazing ball needs to be in my garden and bigger. I do love that look together.. Try making your own dragon using a T-Rex for a model.
