Thanks Debbie, I love blue pots and have several different ones. I found those while on vacation in N.C. They weigh a ton even empty. Both pots are planted pretty much identically with the same plants and yellow and orange Portulaca. The Echevera imbricata Blue Rose is flowering yellow and orange blooms also. That is the close up in the last group of pics.
Here is another look at them

Also the much smaller Echeveria Minima is starting to flower as well. It is in one of the side pockets.

I knew you would like those coleus pots. You should recognize a few of them as I am sure some of the ones I got from you are in there. Thumbs up

I love those little trailing ones! How adorable!

Also, if any of you are interested, we are trying to get enough support for Dave and Trish to start a group for us northern zone gardeners! Please come over and show your support! We need to let them know that there are many of us, and it would be nice if we could have our own forum where we can talk serious gardening with other people that have to deal with our short growing seasons and unique conditions!
Here's a link

Please come over! And invite any one you can think of too that might be interested!

Just looked for something to plant that germanium in. Didn't even know what color it was. Turned out pretty good.

I usually plant a strawberry pot full of pansies in early spring for my Parents house and then when the heat gets to them I put in begonias and inpatients. Don't have pics of those to post.

Glad I found this--getting some great ideas for fall/winter with the pansy idea and for next spring. I stumbled across a blue glazed strawberry pot at TJMaxx of all places. Only got one $10 but should have pick up the other one and the jade green one too. I'll be looking again whenever I go in there now:LOL:

I think the alpine strawberries will be what I try too. Bought strawberry plants from the garden center but they all had runners. I hear the flavor of the alpine berries are better than the others too.
