Thread OP

I planted about a dozen sempervivums in a strawberry pot around a month ago. Last week I noticed a bloom stalk emerging from the center of one of the rosettes. It now has 5 or more beautiful little flowers.

While I was a college student, I was pulled into studying Sempervivum, in fact literally means "live forever" because they grow and propagate so readily. I even write my paper about the diversity of lots of Hens and Chicks species. They need a special and proper care. Firstly, for planting, I should only use a soil mixture for cacti, preferably adding clay and wood chips to it. The pot, in which the plant is planned to be filled with one-third of the drainage, it will protect the plant from excessive moisture. Watering must be rare, in winter no more than two or three times a month, and in the warm seasons once a week.
