I have 2 "originals" for that reason! Also, sometimes I misplace one, despite the bright blue handle... I love good tools, but I'm not good to them. Fortunately, the best ones forgive my neglect! (I just found a digger I lost last fall!!)

I have the same problem, especially with my various handheld pruners. Most if not all of them have black handles. Rather 'had' black handles. For 1 whole dollar I bought some very bright yellow fingernail polish. I put a big blob of it on both sides of the handles. Wow! Makes a big difference. Have to reapply from time to time but still worth it. However, I have not done this with my Cobrahead. Hope I won't need to.

You think? I just took a picture but I don't remember where to submit it. Thought it might be an @joannakat thing and not a forum per se.

For a couple of years now, I've been talking about getting colored vinyl tape, which comes in bunches of different colors: https://www.bing.com/images/se... and I still haven't done it!

Are you thinking of the Ideas Forum? If so, it's here: https://garden.org/forums/view...

But speaking of ideas for handles, how about that great foamy tape that's made for bike handles or tennis rackets? I think it comes in a lot of bright colors.

In my time zone, it's now June 20th. I've been debating with myself (always interesting) about buying raffle tickets. And I'd better end the debate pretty soon as the deadline is rapidly approaching. So June 20th will be a good day to play the ponies buy some tickets. It's my late brother's birthday. Come on, bro. Baby sister needs a set of Cobraheads!

He would have been 71. Maybe I'll work on my arithmetic and use his age to figure out how many tickets to buy. Like 71 divided by 5 would be 14 tickets (rounded off). That's definitely the high end of my 'wagers'. I could buy 2, one for me and one for him. Or 3 if I add in one for my oldest brother. Decisions, decisions. Clock is ticking. ⏰
