Hi. This is my first post here in the pond forum. I would like some good recommendations for inexpensive, if possible, fertilizer tablets. Seems like everyone I try crumbles just trying to unpackage it and I try to be careful.
I have been growing Nelumbo nucifera, bought as var. caspicum or similar spelling (supposedly Caspian origin), for about 8 yrs. or so. I lost Nymphaea 'Fabiola' this year. I had it for probably 10 yrs. Now I have Nymphaea 'Mayla'.  Today I was able to get 2 out of 3 tablets in its pot.
Thanks.

Welcome to the pond and water gardening forum, Kyle. I use Aquascape Pond Plant Fertilizer Tablets 10-14-8. They do not crumble and are hard, so it makes it easy to push them down into the soil of the plant. My dwarf lily has really taken odd since I started using these. I bought a jar of 36 for $11.98. They also make a larger jar of 72 for under $20.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will definitely check it out.
What do you mean by 'taken odd'? Thank You!

OOPS! Hit the wrong key, twice! D'Oh! Hilarious! Should read "taken off"; my dwarf lily has really taken off since I started using these.

The best I could find was 15.00 w/free shipping on Ebay. Snatched 'em. Thanks for the recommendation. Thumbs up
