I just recently saw a couple of these fruits in the grocery store here in Indiana. Almost purchased one just for fun but wasn't sure what to do with it?

They're grown for the citron flavor. The pulp is used to infuse liqueurs and to make citron candies. There's no real "juice" in the fruit. I just like them because they're unusual.

Smiling Thank you, I have learned something new. I use citron in a Christmas bread and never really thought of where it came from.

This is certainly an exotic plant and a conversation piece.

Certainly made me sit up straight and come running to see what this was Thumbs up
If I get a hold of it and plant it in my Verge garden, it will be a traffic stopper and a conversation piece. At least that spot will be very busy and people are most welcome to try it.
Regards,
Arif.
Even though the name is Buddha but where to find it? This place is supposed to be his Kingdom Shrug!

Here's one that the frost got. They are usually a vibrant yellow when ripe. This one is on the downhill slide. It was on a shelf in the hoop house. I believe they are grown in Thailand, but I got mine in Texas.
