When we bought the new house, we inherited some hostas, we brought some from the old house and we've added a bunch. Didn't keep any of the tags bought one at a garage sale (best $5.00 for a hosta ever- divided it into three plants- and they're yuuuuge) and my hubby tossed the tags on the newer ones. I bought him 10 more hostas this year (and I'll keep the tags!). But for the ones we don't know... Help is appreciated!

Hostas I know that I have
Praying Hands (nearly gone- not sure why it isn't happy)
Guacamole- think I even know which one it is
Night Before Christmas (or something with Christmas in the name, I think I know this one too)

There are hundreds and hundreds of named hostas. Without tags it's very difficult to ID plants from photos. Maybe other hosta experts can help..

I know it : )
But sometimes we get lucky...
I go through the same thing with daylilies... With 87,000 varieties, sometimes it just gets called NOID!

#23 could be Parhelion. Parhelion is one of the many Sum and Substance sports. It was what I thought of when I saw #5 until I saw the smaller leaf size.
