A few years ago the birds must have planted these flowers in my garden. The tiny flowers are so cute I just could not bring myself to eradicate all of them. So, each year I let a few strands remain in the garden.I love that you took a plant that can be invasive in the garden and put it in a container. Great idea Chelle!

There's also a Pieris plant in there. Hilarious!
I have these in a few other places too. Like yours, a bird must have brought the first one here. I find them very easy to keep in check; they're so shallow-rooted that it's easy to pull out the excess.

I agree that they are easy to keep in check, pull right up...that is why I do not mind having a few of them. If they were a pain I'd go after ALL of them. I might consider putting a few in a pot this year depending on how many show up.

Just occurred to me I think these have a medicinal purpose...I'll have to check into that...

Yup, tea for relief of sore throat and cold symptoms. I added it as a comment about the plant.

Thumbs up Good going, Maridell. It's always beneficial to have that sort of information handy.
