After 8 years my family has finally.started to fix up my green house my husband built for our 25th anniversary. We have had to repair the roof at least 3 times
The wind kept ripping the panels off . This time we will use metal panels we had left over when we put a metal roof on our house. We will also be. Putting in a couple sky lights for more light I up loaded some pictures. I will add more when the roof is finnished.

A friend gave me some little cucumber plants. I planted them in the raised bed inside the gh. They seem happy, even without a roof.

Hubby finally finished the greenhouse roof. I already have quite a few plants moved inside for the winter. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
I pulled up the cucumbers, they looked pretty dried up & done for the year.
It is probably the wrong time of year but my brother-in-law gave me some cuttings off his honey suckle that I dipped the lower part in rooting hormone after stripping off a section of the leaves. I stuck them in the dirt to see if I can root some. I love honey suckle. Will let you all know next spring.
A few years ago I pulled out some Virginia creeper from my nephews place and planted in the inside of what I call my little back yard. I have 1 acre yard. They all took and now my little backyard has a privacy enclosure.
I have also started some perrienals such as hollyhocks, bellflowers, coneflowers, sweet Williams and some other stuff.
What are all you guys growing or just storing in your green houses?

Right now I have some lettuce and spinach growing along with some cabbage plants. I also have my young pine seedlings in there along with some English Lavender plants I started from seed.

Currently 31 degrees outside at 4:40 am and 50 degrees inside my greenhouse. My water barrels are at 60 degrees.

Well I do not have any current photos right now. But my greenhouse came through the winter better then I did. Jan 27 I fell in my kitchen floor & Brooke my right ankle. ThAt with other health issues laid me low for growing anything. Or so I thought my wonderful daughter in law who lives with us took up the reins and has been taking care of planting all different kinds of seeds I got in last falls seed swap (Dnds5) and we have all kinds of plants coming up. And still tons more to get started . I did manage to start some cuttinng s of different butterflybushes. And a couple of my own roses rooted.

Sorry to hear about your fall @Agoo. Good thing you have your daughter in law. When you are back up to speed, we want to see some pics!
