What does "sculpted relief" mean? Is that when there are frills on the edges of the petals? I think it is just wonderful that you're doing all this. I wish I had your patience and your vision. Best of luck for sucess with your crosses!

I think I can show a few examples better than I can try to verbally discribe sculpted relief. One of the best examples I think, not just because of the form but also because of the name is Bas Relief.

Here are examples of Bas Relief in clay : Bas Relief to me is low relief, but sometimes it does not look so flat and low.
