beautiful law Jen.... wish I could say the same for mine... but still have a lot of work to get there... I keep thinking the best would be having a white clover lawn... working on both... just put grass seeds all over last week and hope the rain will help grow!!!!

Everything is big this year. I think is the Milorganite I used - actually is the only thing I put everywhere - and bone meal for the irises... other than that I am pretty sure everything got milorganite... I love it...

First Peony to open!

Kassia I'm pretty sure I asked you this before but I have short term memory loss

What do you use to get rid of black spot on your roses?

Thanks!

Evan, it's thyme... tons of thyme... it's really a very rewarding plant... love it...wish my entire lawn was thyme!

Allison, I am so encouraged by all the foxgloves ... the new ones from winter sowing are also growing well...

Jen, I take the affected leaves out and spray with Shield-All from Gardens Alive - it's for more than blackspot... I actually got the entire thing for Roses - even Neem and Pyola oil. I used once and liked ... this year I will use again when Japanese Beatles show up in July ....

No blackspot for me so far... but one thing about blackspot - it does not kill the roses, just the leaves.... it;s annoying but does not really damage the plant. at least my roses have not died because of it...

they are some tough plants Kassia... I have some that seeded and thriving on the little patch of dirt exposed on the edge of our rock wall up the driveway.. ones that I thought I lost all together.. I WS'ed some a few years back.. gave them away at a swap and none of mine grew.. well it now seeded along the driveway... glad it is back so I can spread some more seed around Hurray!
