Which name should I put this under in the DB?

Pictures and descriptions match Ranunculus septentrionalis, but it's not listed in the DB. Could this now be classified as Ranunculus hispidus? I get the feeling that they're two different plants, but I'm getting mixed results while researching it.

The one in my photos is growing in shallow standing water, blooming now, and positioned in filtered shade in northern Indiana.
