When it has 10 and then the name is that 10 bulbs at that price? Or just one as it says when your'e supposed to add it to your cart. 11.95 for bulb is a little rich for Ed's blood. Especially if I want 5 or 6 or 10,

I do hope you folk in the cold zones (like I am) will post what kind of luck you have with these Caladiums. I've tried them a couple of times (Wal-Mart and Costco's finest Hilarious! ) here with essentially no results.

I ordered them last year - for the first time- for zone4.
it was warm early last year... i got mine in June, and i think within 2 weeks they were coming up... i'd have to go back and look at image. I think by mid-July, they were stunning, until Sept -- when it started getting into the 50's.

from what i understand, it has to do with the ground temps.

and as i just placed another order for this year... i would never hesitate ordering from Bill.
I have heard 'the big box stores' -- you just dont get the same results.

YAY Ce Ce.... I think your DH will be happy with your purchase... isn't he a EE guy anyways??

I agree- there is absolutely no comparison between big box caladiums and Bill's. No joke. Caladiums were on my "will not try again- not worth it" list until Bill's.

I know I sound like a commercial, but I have been singing these praises for years, and since my name is on the line (and you know where to find me!), I will absolutely give my honest opinion in all of my reviews!

It's gorgeous with the caladium.
Wow.

I look forward to more of this type article. It is reassuring to know safe places to buy our plants.

After reading this article and response thread I understand why I never had good luck with Caladiums. I always got them form the Big Box Stores.
This is the first time I've seem what a healthy, good size caladium bulb looks like.

Thanks Trish. Thumbs up

I grew coleus successfully for the first time, last year, with the help of members here at ATP. I ended up falling in love with them. : )
Now to try Caladium. I have always admired them, but never had any success with them. Time to give it a try again. Hurray!

Hmmm, I haven't grown them for a number of years either. Dang Trish, now you got me hankering for trying "the real things".

I'll go take a peek at their site.

Thanks!
And yes, a good idea to offer reviews of the best of the best!
