I agree with Carol, Pretty Epi, Elaine. It will get big but it's easy to break apart and give gifts to friends.

Debbie is beautiful, Ursula, but I think it will be fine if you use Carol's bread knife method.

Carol, we had finally some really wet weather here in NJ after the longest dry spell in years. They promised nasty winds for my region which never happened, that was a good thing. But I was really down on my rainwater collection, the last time we had a quick shower, we had used also the still empty pond to collect water off the whole house and transferred that to the water reservoirs in the garage. ( normally we only collect off the glass roof) But I had rainwater for only ca 3 days left.
Now collecting off the greenhouse roof AND the whole house roof we collected ca. 800 gallons of water, enough for a few months of orchid watering and soon fishes and waterlilies to be added to the pond. And since all water was redirected, the cellar didn't get flooded! Thumbs up
Now please let it warm up again a bit!

Glad you didn't have problems! After perfect weather last week, we are in cool mode, and expecting a late rain tomorrow night, but at least the nights are staying in the 50s, so I don't have to run the heater in the orchid shack....or the humidifier. Hurray!

We had a weekend of rainy weather which helped the rain barrel and the grass. Yesterday was very windy and cool and today we lost the wind but it is still running 10 degrees cooler than normal. That puts the highs in the low 70s and with the low humidity, it is perfect.

I moved all the hanging stuff outside today to get a good soak, but it's looking like we're going to be missed again, except for a few brief showers tonight. A bit out of focus pic of Leptotes bicolor

We had a grey day around here today, but I took the camera upstairs anyway!
Bulbophyllum patens is flowering nicely right now. This time I am including front-on and sideways view! It is worth looking at those in full view!

Wonderful show, Ursula. I guess I am on an Encyclia kick because of all of those lovely blooms, I like your Enc. Borincana the best.
