I put a test proposal for a new daffodil in the queue.
It says it is awaiting my approval.
However it does not show on my moderator panel on the right side of the homepage.?

I also just found an image in the queue awaiting my approval and it too is not showing on my moderator panel.

The first issue is a known bug I'm working on.

The second issue is because that image is for the parent plant itself, not a child. I need to update the system to count those as well.

An update.

Now I see that Daffodil proposals from others, awaiting my approval in the queue, are also not showing up on the moderator panel.

So proposals are not showing up, generally, I guess.

OK, in my moderator box, it shows that there are 3 images pending in the Rhododendrons but when i click on it, it says there aren't any images. I went to the database page and clicked on pending images there and there are indeed 3 images for the rhodie database. I have pending images showing for daylilies and those are there when I click on them so it looks like it's just a bug for the Rhododendrons for me.

I found many proposals in the moderator que under data proposals and misc proposals today.
I got tree mail asking about proposals submitted, that is how I found them.

Did you subsequently approve them?

Next time that happens leave them in there for a bit and let me know so I can investigate.

Okay, here is a page. There are plants showing on my homepage waiting for approval. I go to that and click to view the first one and approve it. The I click to return to the page that still holds more waiting for approval, but it takes me here with every ones waiting proposals. http://garden.org/plants/mod/d...

I can see that the navigation does need some improvement.

Is this the same issue as before, though? It sounds very different from what you were reporting in your earlier post.

The other issue was that nothing was showing on my homepage, all was going to the database que page. Everything worked properly from there, just wasn't my private area with just the plants I moderate.

Can I go approve them now, or do you want me to wait until your fix something?

Lynn,

I just logged in as you and went to the homepage, and saw this:

Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum):
0 images
10 databoxes
7 proposals

I clicked on the databoxes link and sure enough, all ten of them were there.

I then clicked on the proposals link and sure enough, all 7 were there.

I hate to be dense, but I'm just not seeing what the problem is.

If there is indeed still a problem, could you lay it out for me in steps? Like, let me know exactly what you're clicking on, what you were expecting to happen, and what happened different that what you were expecting? I hate to ask for that level of detail, but I'm just not seeing what needs to be done here.

All those steps are correct. But when I go to do the first one in my list and approve it, then click return to que, it doesn't take me back to my individual list but to the one with every ones plants waiting for approval. Clematis, Iris and so on.

Okay, if you go back in as me and View Sempervivum 'Shirley's Joy' then approve it (I already checked the information and it's correct), then after approval click on « Return to the data proposal moderation queue

It shouldn't go to a page that shows plants other than the ones I moderate. It should go back to the list of sempervivum still waiting for approval. Just sempervivum.

Hurray! I am so glad I could finally find the correct words to explain. Group hug
Thank you Dave.
I'll go approve those proposals. Hurray!
