After taking a rest my AVs are starting to bloom again. I have some in a bright east window and others under lights. The ones under lights are actually doing a little better. Here is a favorite that is at its prime right now, 3 similar pictures and a nice white. I'll take more pictures tomorrow and add to this thread.

I only have a few in bloom now. When summer comes I spend most of my time outdoors and the plants in the house rest.

Those AV are beautiful! I've never had good luck with AV but sure would love to try my luck again. Never seen AV with blooms so large as yours..My oldest Sister has always had good luck with them. Guess she's got the right window light for them and she doesn't mess with them, except to water them she says.

I'm waiting for the AV I rescued to bloom. It will be a surprise to find out the bloom color and characteristics.

My grandmother always had a table full of AV. She never seem to fuss over them, and they did so nicely. I have low light in my house so they do not do well for me

Paul, do you start small plants from leaves? I always thought it was so neat when Granny had babies in the little styrofoam cups.

I'm to lazy to start new plants,,,,,,,they are so reasonable to buy that if a plant begins to decline I discard it and buy a new one....I'm a little ruthless that way.

One AV that I am wanting to try is FISHERMAN'S PARADISE. A nice variagated one.
