I have one big stand of Goldsturm. I keep digging them out and giving away, they just keep spreading
I also grow hirtas. I keep trying to maintain the green-eyed ones, my favorites. But they cross pollinate so readily, oddballs do turn up from my saved seeds.
I've also grown the dwarf Becky, but not in a few years
Name: Susan Virginia (Zone 8a) God is the only thing that matters.
Very beautiful.
Karen, do you have a picture of the Dwarf Becky?

Those are from Thomson and Morgan and are called Rudbeckia x hirta 'Cherokee Sunset'. They have them under annual, but they behave more like short lived perennials, with some plants living 3 or 4 years. They reseed freely and the variations in those seedlings are great.
