Yesterday, I spotted a deer on my property for the first time since the end of summer 2012. It showed up at my wildlife feeding area, where I'd put out birdseed, suet and peanuts shortly before I saw it. So, I decided to walk around the property outside my fenced yard. Sure enough, it must be Deer Yucca Feast season! Some of the yuccas had been starting to bloom. Here's a pic of a Twistleaf Yucca bloom stalk inside the fenced yard and a "pruned" one also that's on the outer part of my place.

Sigh! Well, it seems there a grinch or something that is making these 3 pics tilt sidewise every time I post them. Okay, better sideways than not at all! Blinking
I saw they were that way yesterday after I posted them, then edited them out, tried to post them again and it wasn't going through. So I had a big gardening event to go to early this morning and ran out of time.

This is the deer-pruned one.
