I have been wearing them for a few years now and they are just the best gloves. I don't pick up anything without gloves. I put them on when I head outside and don't take them off till I come back inside. I usually buy 6 pairs they wash well, too. I wear them everyday at my garden center job as well as at home. They are light and tight enough to wear when transplanting seedlings and tough enough to handle the heavy work. Only other gloves I use are rose gloves for thorny areas as the Atlas isn't good protection for that.

Yes! I was thinking the same thing, I hope this leads to a co op. My mom bought me a medium pair, and I could tell they were a great glove, but not the right size for what I wanted to do with them. Count me in if there is a co op!

My go-to gloves are similar to the Atlas, but were given to me by a neighbor who works painting airplanes, when he saw me weeding without gloves. After I had them, I read about Atlas gloves on here somewhere, and this spring, I found them at a home/garden show this spring, for $9 each if I bought 2 pair.

So I now have THREE pair of go-to gloves. I still reach for my neighbor's gloves first, because after 2 years of use, they're well-fitted to me. But the Atlas gloves are everything that you & Dave have discovered, and this is coming from a person who used to NEVER wear gloves unless doing heavy lifting.

I have used Atlas gloves in the past and like them. Have not tried these. But a friend of mine gave me a good tip on cleaning gloves. When she is done working for the day, she heads to the outdoor sink. She then washes her hands with the gloves on using hand soap. When she has them clean she removes them and hangs then up on pins she has above the sink, washes her hands and is done. She uses 2 pair as sometimes the next day pair one is not totally dry but she always has a fresh clean pair of gloves.

I have been wearing these for years now. Love them. Others are bulky or stiff. These you can pick up a dime while wearing them. I buy a couple of pair a year but the old ones only seem to wear out on one hand! $ 6 or 7 each.

As for washing? I keep them on my hands and scrub. Then set them in a mild mixture of bleach and water. Heavily rinse and dry outside in the breeze.

Well, if we can convince Mamajack to do another co-op, I think they averaged about $3 a pair.

Well, if you get them through Cooper- that's 12 pair for $32.00 ish.

While Cooper Safety was generous to send you pairs to trial I have worn Atlas gloves for years, which I always buy from Palmflex (http://www.palmflex.com/). They have these Nitrile Atlas Gloves (350) for $29.99 a dozen. My favorite for summer work are the 370. They have a nitrile covering on the palm but are a nylon knit rather than cotton so are a little cooler in the summer. They are more expensive per dozen but come in fabulous colors. My Herb Club ladies go crazy over these. Last year I was able to get them on sale and no shipping so we got a bargain. Cooper Safety does not seem to offer as many varieties of Atlas gloves as Palmflex. Check it out.
