Good luck Sandi!

I'm taking DH to the airport early in the morning and we've both been battling a bug this weekend so I won't be making the garden tour. Sad Thumbs down

Thanks Margaret. The pre-tour went well. It was like a "dress rehearsal" for the tour tomorrow. I'll be glad to have it over with. I've spent too much time outside, and not enough time inside cleaning! When the last car left today at nearly 7PM, I decided to power wash the driveway. DH just shook his head. It looks much better now and was on "my list." Tomorrow I have a couple of pots to hide and need to get the table out for the drinks. Other than that, I just need to stand around and talk about plants. What could be more fun than that?!

Carey, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. There's definitely something going around here too. You can come over when you're feeling better and have a "snipping tour!"

It was fun, but hot. The hottest day of the year to date....96. We're going to run errands and I'll post pics when we return!

Brutally hot weather! Got back last night from a trip to Houston and Surfside Beach. Just a couple of blooms (and a tree) from my daughter Lisa's yard in Houston. Unfortunately, the guy that put in the landscape after the house constructon turned out to be a bad choice and the landscape is having to be redone in stages. Her beloved original magnolia tree died...I think after they moved in, not sure...most likely drought and the construction stress did it in. Now she's got two new ones planted this spring and one is struggling more than the other. I suspect that at least one might have been a "dug-up" tree, but will probably make it.
