Sorry, impossible to ID just from a picture. If you had a narrow list of known possibilities, we might be able to use process of elimination by comparison among them, but there are so many and they change so much with conditions.

I was afraid of that. I was hoping someone might recognize it or something close to it and have some suggestions to get me going in the right direction. Occasionally people do recognize a NOID if they grow it.

Thanks anyway.

Tee, what a bummer. It is really a beautiful semp though. No idea of where it came from?
Twit is correct in it being impossible to ID without a list of plants to choose from that you have received.

I'm sure that would be based on good intentions, but I personally would not trust it. I have run into the lost tag problem many times with my own plants, but its just too hard to be accurate, even when you are familiar with the plant and especially if there is not a very short list of known prior ID's to choose from. IMHO. There are exceptions, but those are based on something unique about the variety, like Fame Monstrose. Even with 'Oddity', there are several forms similar, such as 'Grigg's Surprise' and another known as 'Calcaerum Monstrose' and I've heard of more but not seen pictures.

Yes, a shot in the dark, but sometimes if I hear a forgotten name, I recognize it. Green Grin!
