Care for Nitrile Gloves

By critterologist
April 24, 2012

Nitrile-coated gloves like these Atlas 370 garden gloves go through the wash just fine. They'll be OK in the dryer, too, but they will last longer if you hang them to dry. "Update: An Atlas representative recommends putting their gloves in the dryer to re-activate the slightly "sticky" feel of the nitrile surface."

Just got an email from palmflex... free shipping on Atlas 370 gloves ($42.99 per dozen) as a mother's day special... they have mixed colors or a single color; use their sizing chart to figure out what size you need. They also have a dozen size "XS" in purple, a good size for kids 6 to 10 years old or thereabouts. (I take a "M" and I think I have a pretty average size hand for a woman... they're stretchy, so you have some leeway... "L" is just a little baggy in the fingers for me, and "S" goes on but is a little more snug than I prefer.) http://www.palmflex.com/atlas-...

Did you try Palmflex? That's where I've been getting mine, usually in packs of a dozen. They have occasional sales, free ship offers, etc.

I guess my point was, if atlas no longer carries them they may have stopped making them?

I did order some, but next time may be forced to find another glove Angry

"atlasfit" isn't the manufacturer's site, I think.

I found this link for "SHOWA" that shows the Atlas 370 in all the "gardening" colors when I searched for them by number: http://www.showaco.com/glove_s...

Palmflex is currently having a "free shipping" sale on their mixed color packs of a dozen Atlas 370 gloves. (It's always free shipping if you buy 2 packs, since that's over $80, but 1 pack is usually plenty to use & to share unless you're ordering for a big group!) http://www.palmflex.com/atlas-...
