I need some lilies, but they don't last long around here. The blooms don't stand a chance in our summers. They smell so good though. I think the key would be putting them some place so other things can take their place after they bloom. I really need to learn more about arranging my plants. I have a messy garden that isn't organized. I guess I could just say that's the look I'm going for. LOL.

I was trying to plant them at the back of the bed, so other things would come up and cover them later. Kinda like my daffodils, I planted them behind the Hostas, so about the time the daffs fade the Hostas come up over them.
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

Are the Coneflowers milkshake? What are the pink lilies? I love all your lilies, hopefully my will bloom soon, if the weeds don't choke them. It's been so hot I haven't done much in the yard.

The coneflower is Coconut Lime. The lily is just a pink NOID. I love my lilies and have tons of them. A late frost this year did some major damage to many of them. I sure hope they come back next year. It's been horribly hot here too. I try to get out real early in the morning to work - if the mosquitoes don't carry me away.

re: that coreopsis: It looks nothing like Teranova's picture. Their's has red flowers. Either I received the wrong plant or the picture was.... badly doctored.
