Can anyone help me identify this historical iris? I received it from a gracious little old lady who said she'd gotten it from her mother. `Staten Island' looks close, but I'm not an iris guru.

It looks like "Accent" Buss 1953. The only way to know is to get "Accent" from a vendor and grow it side by side and hope they bloom together!

Thanks, everyone. I know how nearly hopeless it is to try to ID a blossom, particularly an historic one, but thought it was worth a try!
