Great looking eye on Rings of Wonder. So far not much that's exciting here in zone 5. Middendorffi is always the first to bloom for me. It is done now and forming seed heads, so I need to cut it down. It's a very simple little daylily I like to keep around to remind me of how far daylilies have come. Saratoga Springtime is another rather simple one I keep for it's very early blooms. Has been blooming for about 3 weeks now.

This is Ariel Applique, blooming very low this year but it was newly planted last fall. Hop[e the applique will show up better once it's settled.

Duke Ellington is especially delightful. So far I'm not impressed with Gold Baron. This is flower #3 and the best to open so far, but it's still not fully open. The color is nice. A little more tangerine than this photo. \Thumb of 2012-05-28/stilldew/2439a3
