Hi there,

I've posted a couple times asking about different plants in the yard of the house that I just bought, and now I need some more help with plant identification so I know what to do with the perennial garden this fall!

First two photos are of the same plants, then there are two more of different plants, 3 plants in total!

Thank you for any help you can provide! I can provide more pictures and answer any questions if need be.

The red one is crocosmia, perhaps 'Lucifer' although I can't tell how tall it is and there are shorter cultivars.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

The red flowered stalks are about 3.5 to 4.5 ft tall. Looking at google images, it looks like your spot on! Thank you!

Hi E - the pink one looks like Matthiola (common name 'stock') at the base the larger leaves look like calla lily possibly ? and then on the right hand side in middle of picture are leaves that look like 'wall flower' which is a common weed (volunteer) around here. Good luck with the others! I tip my hat to you.

I think the first one might be a campanula and 2nd one looks to me like phlox.

my guess are
#1,2 ; Campanula of some sort, some like C rapunculoides can be weedy.
#3 : Phlox paniculata, and with calla lily at the bottom as noted by Greg
#4 ; as Deb already mention, a Crocosmia

Tina I usually try to give new members a couple of acorns - but I only have 3 so...you got one of em! I'm not good with finding links and all but there is a thread about how acorns are used
I tip my hat to you.
