Not sure how many of you receive emails from Nola's Iris Garden, but they sent out their "2018 season is ending soon" email.
What's REALLY funny is I sent Gary an email at 11:30 asking if it was too late to place an order this year and their eBlast landed in my inbox at 12:01. (Yes, I'm placing another order.)
For those of you who are not on their email list, here it is:
We are planning the last digs for 2018. We had hoped to make all of the digs for Texas and Arizonia next week but there are too many to dig in one week and we are splitting the digs for the last week of September and the first week of October.
Because of this we have extended the close of 2018 orders until September the 27th when we start the planning of the last dig of the year.
If you wish to place a late order, please have it in no later than September the 27th. We do not recommend orders in the colder areas as the Iris need at least 6 weeks before temperatures drop below 40 degrees. This ensures that the new roots are established before the snow and freezing weather.
For those who wish to place an order this year we have a coupon code for 5% off. The code is N2018. All current orders have shipped except for Texas, Arizona ,and some new orders from the past week or so.
We hope everyone who has received their orders are pleased with them. If not, please let us know and we will fix ANY problem you have. We have received very good comments this year.
Happy Gardening
