A friend with limited internet time doesn't want to get a new forum to try to follow, so I'm asking in his behalf. He's just bought a few orchids, and wants to tie them on a tree in his yard. I thimmmk he lives inland from Ft Lauderdale. I have no idea what kind of orchids they are.

Some suggestions? The east, or the west side?

Thanks in Advance!

Not enough information here. Some orchids take almost full sun while others prefer the shade. Some are epiphytes while others are terrestrial. I would need to know the type of orchid. Once you determine the type of orchid, research it to learn about its natural environment and then try to duplicate it.
