I can see why you have been waiting for it. Does anybody know anything about American Meadows? I have never dealt with them.

I have not used them before , but I just ordered a few from them. I will post picture when they arrive. I assume they will be on the small side in 3 inch pots , but at half price I will take a chance.

I get most of mine from a TNN coop that are plugs. I just pot them up the first year and then plant them the next spring. They seem to do fine, just takes a little longer. But, for the $$ I save I can wait!

I don't have any good pictures on my laptop, but here is one from a distance. This one is 'Tara' from TNN that I THINK I bought last year!

Beautiful garden! I need to move my Tara, it's in too much sun and got burned already this spring.

It must be the yellow ones that can't take the sun. I've seen some of the darker purple ones in direct sun and they don't look bad!

The light green and yellow do not do well in the sun at all.

Holy hostas, Rose. Your garden is lovely and I'm very envious of how much room you have. I have 9 or 10 hostas and will be getting rid of half as they are taking up to much room in the little bit of shade garden here. Does Tara get bigger than the listed 8 x 10"?

That's only one of my 5 beds! I think my Tara is bigger than 8 X 10 already. But, I did check my records and it was purchased 2 years ago from a TNN coop, not last year.

Today Vulcano arrived and it'd not even 2"5" high. Can you imagine paying regular price $16.49 for a plug? I can't even believe I paid $8 for this. In comparison I would guess that plants from GHS and SRG are 1 yr plants.

They grow so quickly though. They will be nice plants in a month or two.

Where is a good on line site to buy Heuchera? I'd really like to find Gunsmoke.

Ilovehosta .net carries Gunsmoke. They are a good supplier of Heuchera. $3.99 flat shipping rate.

Gunsmoke does not have a lot of color changes, but it is one of the few that is better looking then the pictures you see of it.

Rose Tara is not a TNN plant can you get a closer picture of it.
