clintbrown said:They grow so quickly though. They will be nice plants in a month or two.

I ended up throwing it in a pot so I didn't step on it.

NJBob,

Yes, I will get a better picture of it tomorrow. Just checked my records and it was from a Shady Oaks coop. I thought our heucheras came from TNN, but I guess I was wrong!

Thanks for the correction and I will post tomorrow evening.

That really does not look like the Tara's I have seen. Does it get the red in the middle of the leaves like this http://www.hostasdirect.com/he...

It wouldn't be the first time I've received mislabeled plants! No, it's all yellow. I ordered 2 that year, so I'll have to find the other one and see if it's the same or has red. Probably not...I guess I'll have to make a new label with Citronelle on it!

Thanks

Rose, I don't have any other greens like Lime Rickey or Pistache so I would put a '?' after Citronelle. A friend just brought over her Midnight Bayou she picked up at a nursery in MD which still had the tag and as soon as I saw it I knew it was mislabeled. The tag should have been for Mahoganey. With other ones I'm not familiar I wouldn't know the difference.

By the size of the leaf I am thinking Pistache.

Great! I only have about a dozen of those! I had a huge one that needed to be split last year. Oh well, I guess they'll make good fillers in dark spots!

Thanks!

Are the leaves large like your other Pistache . If they are smaller it could very well be Citronelle.

I believe the leaves are shaped a bit differently as well although I think the difference in shape is subtle. Citronelle seems to be a bit rounder in shape than Pistache.

They might be dormant, Hardy Hibiscus are slow to wake up. They are really small though. I got 4 or 5 from MJ co-op and they were monster. They are just starting to show growth. Any signs of life yet! i think they need lots of sun and warm temps. I put mine in large pots because I thought the soil would warm faster.

They look dormant to me too. I bet they grow fine if you plant them outside in a sunny spot. That is what mine looked like a few weeks ago and now they are growing fine.

Well, so far no signs of life and they should wake up soon with these warm temperatures. The ones out back are three feet high and wide, I know they are awake! Thumbs up
