Robin and Deborah ~ Thank you so much!
Even if just half of them bloom this coming spring, it will be a garden filled with iris flowers! Hurray!

Evelyn - You're garden is going to be beautiful! I love how you arranged them. A lot of work, yes, but so worth it. Hurray!

Many on my wish list, like: Better Than Butter, Sergey, Coffee Whispers, Tango Amigo, Butterfly Affair.

A few from my 2018 orders: Peach Pearl, Giraffe Kneehis, Haunted Heart. (So excited!)

And I have/have had and LOVE: Tiger Honey (had years ago), Yalobusha Desert (have had for a few years but it hasn't bloomed yet), and Thornbird (one of my favorites, will always grow it.)

Like everyone else, cannot wait to see your spring pics!

Florentine Silk is so pretty - love the pink and blue combination!

Here in North Dakota, we've already had our first snow Sad so I will be gardening vicariously through this website for the next several months. Sighing! So looking forward to my new iris garden next spring and hope all of my babies survive the winter. Should they be mulched for the winter? They've been planted for about a month and a half so hopefully their roots have dug in by now.

Casey ~ Thank you so much! I can't wait to see the blooms, too! If at least half of them bloom, there will be a lot of flowers! How many days now until May? nodding

Mary Ann ~ Thank You! I still have a little ways to go. I am finishing up the raised beds and then I will plant a few in the perennial beds. My bulbs are due to arrive next week, so I can plant more white daffodils along the fence in the White Flower Border and then I will put out all the new (to me) white irises. I have removed Immortality and I will be putting them in a bed of their own to see if I can get them to rebloom next year.

How is your iris garden coming along? Have you planted any new ones? Or are you still working on those #@%&## weeds? I know you get a lot more rain so the weeds are a constant inhabitant in your gardens....

Here are the new white ones. They are nice for blocking the dying daffodil foliage.

I posted in another thread("What did you do....") about the second iris bed, which is quite a bit larger than the first one. I can't believe that I ordered so many this year! Hopefully I won't order any more until I eliminate a few from these beds. Rolling my eyes.

I think I will plant White Extra in between Purissima and Skating Party in order to tell them all apart, especially after they grow a bit.

Has anyone ever planted similar irises and then couldn't ID them later? (And especially white ones...)

I think you will be fine Evelyn if you label them and keep a bit of space between them.
