This plant looks like Echinopsis chamaecereus. See here:

Peanut Cactus (Chamaecereus silvestrii)

I would like to propose moving the image to that listing. What do you think?

Patience, Stefan... I'd like to wait to give the original poster a chance to reply.

This image appears on the page for the Cactus & Succulent forum, like other new images in the database, which is where you may have noticed it recently. We will get the ID resolved in due time, I promise you. Smiling

Well if i have to guess, its probably a cultivar of echinopsis chamacereus, and i do like to point out the cultivar part...
And i have this....

I do believe the common name(even here) is peanut cactus, though this is likely a reference for the original stubby plant.....which has a complicated story....

I want to give the member who posted the image a chance to respond. Please be patient. He is a long time contributor but has not posted anything since this image went up. I would normally give folks a couple of weeks before taking action. It's a matter of courtesy to @chhari55 not to move his images without trying to engage with him first.

Thank You!
