Discovering Alpine and Sub-Alpine Plants

I was a long time coming to the realization of the vast scope and variety of alpine plants. There are many of them that are easy to grow, if given the right conditions.

It is just a miniature version of the larger garden penstemons. I put it out in the raised bed yesterday. By this time next year I will know if it will do well with the other plants in the bed.
