"Back to 2019 SDB introductions. At 15" it's on the taller side of SDBs which is nice because it carries up to 5 buds. Good color saturation and striking beards. Applied for name of "Berrylicious"."

Okay, so Mike hasn't shown us any additional 2019 introductions and, while I do have some, I do not have enough chutzpah to prod him about it. Hilarious! Hilarious! What he has shown us are three more upcoming introductions (2020 or 2021). If you want to avoid keyboard drool and/or prefer to wait until they are ready to buy, skip the rest of this post. Big Grin

"Another fast track to intro seedling, surprisingly a sib to the previous post. It too lost the top half of it's stalk due to the tractor but it looks like it has 3 branches, spur and terminal. Caught this just as it was opening so it expanded quite a bit when it was fully opened. Really deep, rich color to the falls and nice veining on the standards. Also an interesting color combination."

"Some iris are reselected for color, some for form or some other characteristic. This one was for lacing and form and very thick substance (subtle color is nice too). On the fast track to intro and depending on growth this upcoming year will probably be out in 2020. One of the reselects from a very productive cross of Haunted Heart X Strawberry Frosting."

"Another fast track TB seedling. amazing wire rim on the falls gives the flower a cut-out appearance and really defines the falls. Nice gilt edging to the standards too, oh, and the form is pretty nice. It's one of those flowers that stops you in your tracks while walking through the garden..unusual in less than super bright flowers."

The second one is outstanding. So Haunted Heart x Strawberry Frosting is prolific. Wonder what the rest of those seedlings look like! Drooling

Mike, you're not supposed to torture the customers!! Blinking He posted another FUTURE introduction today.
ARRGG! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

"Fast track TB seedling slated for introduction when stock permits. Probably not for the traditionalist as it is definitely the most ruffled iris we have ever had, has nice lacing too. Very thick substance so the flower has no trouble opening. good stalks with nice branching and 7 buds. Going to have to build up a bunch of stock before we offer it so it won't be out until 2020 or maybe 2021."
