Beautiful Hosta Kaleem, love your avatar also. Is it Fire and Ice? I just bought three in the spring but they are not growing, I think I will move them in the fall to a little more sun. You take good pictures.

Yes it's Fire & Ice, a very slow growing hosta for me. My friend from Denmark has sent me three years ago with two eyes and they are still two. Is there any special tip for growing this hosta fast/quickly.

Just water and fertilize! That's about all I do --some grow faster/slower than others.

To me they seem to be a lot like Great Expectations, I got some good advice on DG last year from a grower and she said make sure the crown is just above the soil level and make sure they get some sun. This time of year they all could use some fertilizer, it is growing season for Hosta roots. I am getting ready to spray all mine tomorrow with a good dose of Miracle Grow.

I know in the warmer zones, probably an hour or two would be fine. I planted sun tolerant Hostas out front this year and they only got morning sun, yet they all fried.
