After my older bulbs bloomed last year most of them got quite a bit smaller in size, which is normal, but they didn't regain any size by the end of their growing season. Any ideas what caused this, was it because I didn't fertilize them enough, they had sun for several hours a day for most of the summer. Several have grown bulbletts which I will remove and plant separately at the end of this growing season..
